We’ve been clients for the past five years and they make the tax process as stress-free as possible. They specialize in taxes for airline employees (they don non-airline as well) nationwide and have streamlined the process so well that it takes a fraction of the time to do normal tax paperwork, especially for repeat clients. Deductions and rules for flight crew taxes are constantly changing; AirlineTaxes.com does an excellent job of keeping their clients up to date, and their customer service is wonderful! When you contact them, please mention my husband, Matthew Cohen, as your referral.
Being the wife of a flight attendant, I understand the difficulties of finding products that hold up to the harsh realities of constant travel. Here are a few tried and true items that have held up under pressure that will make your life on the road a little easier:
eBags

Our luggage obsession: eBags. High quality meets fabulous functionality! Matt beats up his bags pretty good when he’s on the road, and of the four other brands we’ve tried, his eBags are the only ones left standing. eBags also created a Crew Cooler (love it!) that’s specifically designed for flight attendants and pilots.
HOTLOGIC Food Warming Tote
This little HotLogic food warmer works great! We’ve gone through several other warming contraptions and this one has been our favorite by far. It takes about 45 minutes to fully heat up the food (we use it with glass Pyrex containers), but it’s worth the wait. Plug it in as soon as you get to your hotel room and it’ll stay hot until you’re ready to eat.
Melaleuca essential oil
For any travelers who have pet allergies, it would be a good idea to carry melaleuca essential oil with you. Got a runny nose, itchy eyes, and are sneezing every two seconds out of the blue? Yep, you’ve probably got a cat in a bag under your airline seat. Using one or two drops of melaleuca essential oil on the back of your neck can help diminish allergic reactions almost immediately in a safe and natural way. You can also take it orally; however, I recommend only using doTERRA essential oils for internal usage. I’ve worked with doTERRA for several years now and trust their oils above all other companies. BEWARE: most essential oil companies say their products are 100% pure, yet the label on the bottle says DO NOT INGEST. If it’s pure peppermint, why can I not ingest it? Doesn’t make sense to me.
VERY IMPORTANT: When using essential oils, please do your homework! There’s a proper way to administer oils for optimum effectiveness, and using oils the wrong way can cause a lot of harm. Before you use an oil, you need to know how it can be used: aromatically, topically, and/or internally. Most oils can be applied at full strength, but some oils need a carrier oil (such as fractionated coconut oil) to dilute so that it doesn’t burn your skin. Certain oils can make you sick if ingested. It’s best to use a reputable medical resource, the doTERRA website (doTERRA promotes oil education), and/or Modern Essentials (my go-to book for oils) for your research. I beg of you, do not look for trustworthy information on social media. Raise your right hand and repeat after me: “I will not trust essential oil information on social media”. Also remember: as with anything else you encounter on the planet, you may have an allergic reaction to an essential oil.
